Founded in 2002 Sumo Power has become leaders in the Japanese aftermarket - supplying standard, tuned and performance parts for Japanese cars with brands from leading manufacturers, most notably - HKS.

 

 

 

 

From humble beginnings in 2002 Sumo was a late entry into the tuning market but when it did arrive, Sumo set the standard that amazed the scene in the UK and Europe by building an amazing range of sports cars from its product line-up that only dreams are made of. From Skyline GTR's to Evo's, BMW's and Civics, we've touched some great cars and made them better and well, super powerful and stylish in the process. In the summer of 2009 Sumo Power joined the JR Motorsports Group to form an even more powerful force which now also embraces tuning of customers vehicles via a purpose built centre of excellence in Rye, East Sussex - UK.

 

We concentrate solely on the Japanese market and Japanese cars. Naturally as a result we have attracted offers for representation in the UK and Europe from the majority of Japans top aftermarket parts manufacturers, some of which we have long term relationships with as a result, most notably with the worlds greatest of them all, HKS Co. Ltd for whom we are the UK's main distributor.

 

 

With support from these suppliers and our loyal customers, our dedication to the company has continued to grow steadily and evolve into the 'one stop shop' outlet that you see today and etching the name of Sumo Power into the UK tuning history books as the company that changed it all and the people that know what's what.

We are notable for some extravagant demonstration cars that have become infamous around the world as trend setters, but not on purpose you understand, by pure commitment to what we believe stands for a desirable and powerful car, defining 'cool' for those that really know what it means to be.

Our business is about supplying parts to customers to exact requirements and for a purpose with limitations only on what your imagination holds. Now with first class engineering facilities which include various high-tech and industry leading machines, Sumo embraces a new chapter in its history.

All of our products come with full manufacturers back up and guarantees as you would expect from a retailer, equally we are fully trained as to thier use or fitment as a result of our extensive racing pedigree.

We only stock parts that we believe in and that are representative of what the after market tuning scene is all about, if a product doesn't work or is not up to Sumo Power standards, you will not find it listed in our shop.

One of the keys to our success and ability to not only supply the brands we represent but to pretty much supply anything from Japan is that our our dedicated partners in Yokohama Japan, Boom Enterprises AKA Sumo Power Japan, our dear friends and representatives in Japan as seen below. We ship daily from the hub in Yokohama when necessary with weekly air shipments and monthly seafreight orders a regular part of our supply chain structure.
