New from TEIN is this very nice strut brace for the Mitsubishi Evo X. Designed for both left and right hand drive cars, it replaces the standard item to increase the body strength and also give a great appearance under your bonnet.

New Product : Evo X Bonnet Dampers (26/11/2009 @ 14:06:38)
Brand new from our TEIN range are these simple yet very effective bonnet dampers. Designed for OEM fitment, Hydualic dampers control the bonnet operation to eliminate the use of the standard bonnet rod/clip to increase the rake of the bonnet when opened and allow for easier use when opening and closing.
Priced at £135+vat they are available from stock. We also have meny other applications available for Mitsubishi, Nissan etc... Please ask.

New product : Evo X Dash pod Mount (26/11/2009 @ 14:03:08)
As part of our Evo X line-up we are pleased to announce this new product which is now available from stock here at Sumo.
This pod is made from plastic to match the interior of the Evo X and can accomodate either 52mm or 60mm gauges. The kit comes with converters for gauge size, a carbon effect finishing panel and the screws and 3M tape for installation.
Priced at £125 + vat - although designed specifically for the Evo X it could be used in other applications due to its almost ''flat'' design.

R32 Drift Car - Do-Luck Aero Parts installed (30/09/2009 @ 10:51:04)
Hi,
We've been busy installing the latest additions to the drift car recently which has seen the colour change of the car from Silver to British Racing Green.
The aero is Do-Luck front/rear bumpers and sides with front additional fins ( the black sections at the bottom ) and Yanack front wings and rear quarters.
Weve kept the original rear GTR rear wing as we couldnt decide on a replacement as we didnt want anything carbon or high mount
A nice bit of paint/kit also brings the Hyper Zero-1 wheels alive now we think.
Next job is Recaro's and grind the stops back finally as well as the horrible job of ditching all the Hicas piping which we have been avoiding for a while and altering the steering pump arrangement for an R33 one.

Walbro/Sytec/FSE Fuel pump upgrades are now listed online in our shop.
The fuel pump is a very good upgrade over the original fuel pump with its main purpose being to increase the fuel flow for increased horsepower applications. The pumps can also be used as an efficient replacement part for faulty or old fuel pumps. They are a direct fitment for your old pump and in most cases can be installed DIY.

NEW PRODUCT : HKS Mitsubishi EVO 10 Actuator Kit (11/02/2009 @ 13:07:19)
HKS has now released a turbo actuator kit for the Mitsubishi Evo X.
Available from stock and priced at £145+vat, this actuator kit enables you to increase the turbo boot pressure and therefore power of your Evo X.
It enables boost increases from 142.2kpa to 152kpa ( roughly 0.1bar ) without the engine light coming on.
The kit includes fittings for installation and is available for nextday delivery.

NEW PRODUCT : HKS R35 GTR Exhaust System Released (10/02/2009 @ 17:08:43)
HKS have finally released thier new exhaust system for the Nissan R35 GTR, the ' HKS Legamax Premium Muffler'. Shown below it comes in 2 versions, the TIG and the FLUX, which relate the welding processes used at the manufacturing stage.
The FLUX is priced in the UK at £1695+vat while the TIG version is available at £1995+vat.
Both items are available in the UK from stock and we would be pleased to hear from R35 GTR owners wishing to take advantage of this fantastic new product which has just arrived from Japan.

R34 GTR Chassis FOR SALE - Brand New! (09/02/2009 @ 18:41:25)
At Sumo we have a unicorn in our warehouse. We have a brand new R34 GTR chassis.
We bought this a couple of years ago to build up into a Time Attack car but our plans have now changed and therefore it is for sale.
I cannot tell you how rare an item this is, nowhere else in the world will you find a brand new chassis for an R34 GTR.

NEW PRODUCT : Do-Luck Evo and GTR 4WD Diff Controllers (15/01/2009 @ 16:51:10)
Do-Luck recently released thier groundbreaking 4WD controllers for the Evo and GTR.
The GTR Unit can control the GTR's heart - its 4WD transfer case on all R32/R33 and R34 models.
The Evo Unit can control the active centre diff on all Evos 7,8 and 9 only.
The units are priced at £299+vat and are available to buy from Sumo now.

NEW PRODUCT : HKS Japan start using Do-Luck Aero (26/01/2009 @ 19:21:21)
HKS Japan recently upgraded thier R34 'Driving Performer ' R34 GTR Skyline using Do-Luck parts.
This car is super special, actually one of my favourite GTR's ever ( Andy), the pictures tell the story as to why.
Here is the the car outside one of the HKS Fuji factories last week:
The engine bay, HKS 2.8 Variable cam T04Z loveliness.... note the underside of the Do-Luck bonnet - thats the normal finish on Do-Luck undersides, amazing.
Note the special things under the bonnet, carbon water bottle, slam panel, strut brace and detail covers, lovely work
The new Carbon bootlid from Do-Luck also features ( the extended wing sections are not Do-Luck )

The car also uses the new Do-Luck 4WD controller which has recently been released but I didnt get a picture of that in the car.

We received information from J's Racing Japan ( the Honda parts we sell ) that thier new S2000 Aero package was unveiled at Tokyo Auto Salon last week. The pictures are below from the show.
As well as that, J's also won an award from the show organisers : Most Outstanding Performance Award.

NEW PRODUCT : DAMD Evo X Aero Parts (21/12/2008 @ 20:36:53)
Sumo are the European agent for DAMD (Japan) and they have recently released thier aero package for the Evo X. As you can see from the pictures, it makes the car look much more agressive but retaining a 'stock' look about the car.
As with other products in the DAMD range, the X gets the carbon side extensions treatment which bolt under the standard side skirt.
