Special Project 'Project GTR BMW' - EA Games
After the 350Z 'Hercules' EA Games had seen the high level of workmanship and quality that they would get from the special project section of Sumo Power they they commissioned a second car for the lastest incarnation of the 'Need For Speed' game, 'Need for Speed - Most Wanted'.
The hero car in this game was a BMW GTR, up until now Sumo Power were only known for their Japanese vehicles but we rose to the challenge and grabbed the german by both horns.
Many one off parts again were used, RAYS wheels Japan supplied wheels which had never been used on a BMW before, a GTR Racecar replica body kit, check out the ful list

The creation was awesome, the car a mirror of the computer generated hero in the game and another top one-off special from the Sumo stable.
After the game promotion was over it was given away on live TV on MTV, a lucky young lady took the keys and the win and the car was adjusted back into road trim.
