The Type HT Damper set has been designed with tarmac racing in mind.

The units have 16 seperate adjustable (16x16) compression & rebound settings and ride height adjustment and feature a 45mm piston valve for more precise set up and optimum performance

 

 


TYPE RE

The Type RE damper is designed for advanced circuit racing like the RA kit but with an added full length adjustment system, this means that the ride hide is adjustable without changing the pre-load on the spring.

16 Levels of Compression & rebound, coupled with the full length adjustment system means that this kit enables optimum suspension stroke for all road conditions.

 


TYPE RA

The Type RA damper has been designed for advanced circuit racing and street use for experienced drivers, It incorporates a newly designed 'mono-tube' structure which assists maximum road handling.

Constructed of A7050 Aluminium, the units have 16 levels of adjustable compression & rebound settings and ride height adjustment.

 

The Type RS damper has the advantage over the RA & RE types with its damping force adjustment feature, it has 16 seperate (16x16) compression & rebound settings, certain applications which incorporate multi-link or wishbone suspension come complete with an extra reserve oil tank for larger oil capacity.

Track usage recommended.

SUPER DRIFT

The Super Drift Damper Kit is the evolution of the Type HE, it has been revised and designed exclusively for drifting, Aimed at the advanced uncompromising drifter this kit will allows even greater control whilst drifting at high speeds.
The Type HE damper has been designed for drifting performance, it has specific damping force and spring rate to optimise easy control, the incorporation of the full length adjustable height adjustable system allows for a wide range of height set-ups.

16 levels of damping force adjustment ( Compression & rebound together)

 


TYPE N1 (Dampers Only)

Type N1 is the exclusive racing model application. These dampers were developed for Super N1 Endurance Racing, TEIN Racing springs are recommended (available seperately - see below).

20x20 levels of Compression & rebound, full length adjustment and height adjustment are what makes these dampers truely special.

Available in either Steel or Aluminium.

 


TYPE FLEX

The TEIN Type Flex damper kit was designed to provide driving comfort and sports performance with its full length adjustment system.

Incorporating separate height and pre-load adjustments, differing road conditions can be catered for easily, pillowball mounts are also included in this kit and the Type Flex is compatible with TEIN's EDFC unit for adjustment  from inside the cars cabin.

16 levels of damping force adjustments are available and their Teflon coating means that you get a high level of rust prevention too.

 

 


SUPER STREET & SUPER STREET (M)

 

TEIN has developed advanced technology to desin the shell casing and stroke of these dampers to bring out the full potential of your vehicle, these features were chosen with greater performance in mind to satisfy all your driving demands be it weekend racing or daily driving.

Available either with or without upper mounts, with the option of being able to use pillowball mounts too.

TEIN BASIC DAMPER KIT

The Basic Damper Kit was designed for the driver seeking high performance at a reasonable price, kits start for just £552.25 including VAT which includes 4 dampers & 4 springs.

Compared to sleeve type coil overs, the Basic Kit has more exclsuive set up for an overall better balance for your car.

No damping force adjustment, can be used with pillowball mounts.

 


TYPE CS

Comfort for sophisticated drivers was the goal behind the design of the CS Type Damper Kit, Hard rubber upper mounts for noise proofing whilst the mono-tube type casing heightens road holding.

16 levels of damping force adjustment and height adjustable this kit offers improved ride ride comfort over original shock absorbers.

 


EDFC (Electronic Damping Force Controller)

EDFC makes it possible for the driver to control damping force from inside the cars cabin therefore allowing greater enjoyment of the suspension settings.

When using the EDFC on 16 level adjustable damper kits, the controller can double the settings to 32 by utilising controlled decreased rotation angles on the damper.

Memory settings and self-check/warning modes come as standard.

Damping settings can be controlled separately for front and rear dampers, the left and right wheels are simultaneously controlled.

 

 


PILLOWBALL UPPER MOUNTS

When fine tuning suspension settings, the original rubber top mount bushes will allow changes to occur beyond your control.

By replacing these rubber bushes with pillowball mounts you able able to ensure that height change is reduced and stroke centres are maintained.

Lengthened serration bolts add enough thread to allow easy fitting of an aftermarket strut tower bar.

For vehicles using front Macpherson strut suspension, the pillowball mounts also allow for camber adjustments

 

 

 


PILLOWBALL TENSION RODS

By removing the standard rubber bushing on the tension rod and replacing them with pillowball types you reduce toe change under braking or acceleration, allowing only vertical movement to occur.

Corner roll is reduced and quicker steering response is acheived, caster angles can also be adjusted with ease.

Carbon steel has been used in the manufacture of this product.

 


S.TECH SPRINGS

The first step towards suspension tuning usual comes in the form of simple spring replacement, these springs offer approximately 30mm of lowering to your vehicle to add to the aggresive road presence of your car.

Most applications come with a rubber spring protector sheet to assist noise reduction.


TEIN RACE SPRINGS

These springs are designed for competition use, the design and material were selected for use on race circuit surfaces.

Use these Race Springs in conjunction with the N1 Type damper listed above to take home first place in any race!

TEIN BONNET DAMPER

These highly durable bonnet dampers have been designed to give function and dress-up to your engine bay.

Most bonnets are made of steel and can be cumbersome to open and close, using the Bonnet Damper makes light work of this task and adds a subtle finishing touch to your bay.
